What is Azoospermia?
Azoospermia is a medical condition where a man has no measurable level of sperm in his semen. It is a common cause of male infertility, affecting about 1% of all men and 10% to 15% of infertile men.
Our comprehensive evaluation at AIIM Indore aims to determine the underlying cause and explore the best possible pathways for achieving fatherhood.
Types of Azoospermia
- Obstructive Azoospermia (OA): Sperm is produced but blocked from leaving the body due to an obstruction in the reproductive tract.
- Non-Obstructive Azoospermia (NOA): The testicles produce little to no sperm, often due to hormonal imbalances or genetic factors.
